Racing Four the Win!

Jimmie Johnson will make history at the season finale Homestead-Miami race on Sunday. As long as he finishes 27th, Johnson will become the first driver to win four consecutive championships. Congrats, Jimmie. Nobody works harder than you...and Chad Knaus.

Runner-up for Tool of the Year is...

Juan Pablo Montoya.

I think these "men" forget they're just that - men when they get behind the wheel at a track. Leave well enough alone, JP. I crown thee runner-up of Tool of the Year - behind the #1 supremo douchebag, Denny.

I did like you, Juan Pablo. However, that ridiculous tap to the back of the #14 changed my perspective on you. Like Joey Logano said, "You can't fix stupid."

Further Proof Denny Hamlin is a Douchebag...

Ok, so I'm watching the Homestead Miami Nationwide race (and I never watch Nationwide races) and the first thing I see is Denny "the Douchebag" Hamlin running up on the high side behind Brad Keselowski and tapping him hard enough to spin him out. Really, Denny...did you think you weren't going to get penalized for that immature maneuver? I'd like to personally give a shout out to the Nascar officials at the race for black flagging the #11. I think this further solidifies Denny's win for the "Tool of the Year" award in Nascar (both Nationwide and Sprint). Congrats, Denny. You have rightfully earned this award. Now, go play in traffic.

What's been up with Tony?

If you are a Tony fan (like me), you have to be wondering what has been going on with Tony Stewart this season. Part of his appeal is his cocky, arrogant attitude. Tony lays it all out there. He sometimes shares too much.

I was all for him leaving Joe Gibbs Racing and branching out on his own. I have watched in awe as he finagled his way through this season with such success (and in the chase). What is somewhat disturbing to me is his calm demeanor.

I just have to ask. Is Tony Stewart on Paxil or some other mood-altering drug?

Denny Hamlin Needs Some Cheese for His Whine

Oh, where to begin.

Once again, Denny Hamlin is complaining. I'm beginning to wonder if he and Kyle Busch are competing for the biggest crybaby of Nascar. This week, Denny's complaint is that there needs to be an advisory board in Nascar. He wants there to be a collective voice. Hamlin is always whining that people aren't playing fair. Has he looked in the mirror lately? It's like the pot calling the kettle black. There are certain drivers who talk to Nascar about concerns and issues. Nascar listens to these drivers because these drivers have credibility and respect. Jeff Gordon openly admitted that he has talked with Nascar officials. This irks Denny because he is NOT one of those drivers. He doesn't think Nascar should do things based on what seasoned drivers, such as Jeff Gordon, say or think. I imagine Nascar trusts someone like Jeff Gordon because he is a four-time Sprint Cup champion. Nascar trusts what Jimmie Johnson says because he's on his way to his fourth consecutive Sprint Cup championship. Mark Martin is trusted because he is the best driver to have never won a championship. (Enter sarcasm) I can't imagine why they turn the other way when you give your input, Denny.

Denny Hamlin lacks the credibility because he whines day in and day out. He's quick to blame others for things that were clearly his fault (hello, look at the replays). He lacks respect. Denny, you have to have respect to get respect. If you want it, you have to earn it. The racetrack is not your playground. There are rules.

There is also an NNS rivalry brewing between Hamlin and Brad Keselowski. Both drivers need a reality check. You can't fix stupid (ask Robby Gordon). Maybe Mark Martin should have a stern talking-to with these two babies.

Perhaps Denny just needs to realize he is NOT in the same league as Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin. Basically Denny, you need to sit down, shut up, and hold on.
