Denny Hamlin Needs Some Cheese for His Whine

Oh, where to begin.
Once again, Denny Hamlin is complaining. I'm beginning to wonder if he and Kyle Busch are competing for the biggest crybaby of Nascar. This week, Denny's complaint is that there needs to be an advisory board in Nascar. He wants there to be a collective voice. Hamlin is always whining that people aren't playing fair. Has he looked in the mirror lately? It's like the pot calling the kettle black. There are certain drivers who talk to Nascar about concerns and issues. Nascar listens to these drivers because these drivers have credibility and respect. Jeff Gordon openly admitted that he has talked with Nascar officials. This irks Denny because he is NOT one of those drivers. He doesn't think Nascar should do things based on what seasoned drivers, such as Jeff Gordon, say or think. I imagine Nascar trusts someone like Jeff Gordon because he is a four-time Sprint Cup champion. Nascar trusts what Jimmie Johnson says because he's on his way to his fourth consecutive Sprint Cup championship. Mark Martin is trusted because he is the best driver to have never won a championship. (Enter sarcasm) I can't imagine why they turn the other way when you give your input, Denny.
Denny Hamlin lacks the credibility because he whines day in and day out. He's quick to blame others for things that were clearly his fault (hello, look at the replays). He lacks respect. Denny, you have to have respect to get respect. If you want it, you have to earn it. The racetrack is not your playground. There are rules.
There is also an NNS rivalry brewing between Hamlin and Brad Keselowski. Both drivers need a reality check. You can't fix stupid (ask Robby Gordon). Maybe Mark Martin should have a stern talking-to with these two babies.
Perhaps Denny just needs to realize he is NOT in the same league as Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin. Basically Denny, you need to sit down, shut up, and hold on.

  1. I really liked Hamlin a few years ago but he’s started to grate on my nerves as well. After he dominated the series with wins a couple of years back only to get clowned by JJ and others during the Chase, he hasn’t been the same since. He reminds me of someone else that needs to shut up and drive on. Someone who everyone thinks is great and he keeps changing crew chiefs but hasn’t gained anymore wins....

  2. Gee, I know not who you speak of...Dale Jr.? I hate to see Steve Addington move to the front office - maybe he could be Jr.'s crew chief.
